"If you think Iraq is worse than
Afghanistan -- or didn’t even know
there is a major conflict in
Afghanistan -- slap yourself..."
That is the info tag line on this video from the 2nd Battalion (ARN) 503rd Infantry, and it pretty much says what my blog has been trying to say for several years. I remember making videos while I was in country, thinking they were really good. But they are nowhere nearly as good as what's been coming from soldiers in the last year. The production quality continues to impress the hell out of me.
Very well done boys. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for being there for us.

If you don't remember that Ronald Reagan gave funding, training, and credibilty to the Taliban, slap yourself.

If you don't know the difference between the taliban and the muhjahideen, slap yourself.

Medieval wars are more humane, they fought till death face to face. With every blade blow to the enemy it could be seen the blood flows, the colour are red , same as yours, and so the hatred will be lessened in the winner's heart after seeing the blood flows. Poor Afghan, nobody will see their blood flows, after the bombs hit them. Use your binoculars, if there is blood left in the rumbles after the bombing or artillery hit them, slap yourself.

Read the post when it was fresh but just now watched the video. Truly amazing. Thanks for putting it out here for us. Slapping ourselves should probably be a daily ritual, dontcha think. A humble, middle-aged, couch potato, grateful reader and watcher,
Oh and nice to see Voodoo child still rocks for a younger crowd

This video is amazing. The job that our soldiers are doing is tremendous. As a mother who’s son is in the Air Force, it is hard for me to comprehend the living conditions. When I witness the video it hurts me to think that our sons and daughters are being placed in such hard places. I am very proud to say I am a mother of a son in the military. Thanks to all the men and women for serving our country and keep us safe.
