MY LIFE IN ASTAN

Well, here's Volume II of the My Life in Astan series. It opens with video of the attack on my FOB and then goes into pictures after that. The music is a great song from Green Day, my Son Jordan's favorite band. It's called "Wake Me Up When September Ends."

I am working on some other videos, experimenting with some different video-creation software, but this one is made with the old standby, Microsoft Movie Maker.
It is my favorite video so far. I hope all who see it will like it as much as I do.

Note: No cats were harmed in the making of this video. It just looks like it. He is still here and doing fine.

1SG Steward,
What a great video with the perfect song. Thankyou for sharing your life over there. You and yours keep safe!

Hey 1SG Steward,

Great video! I've said this to another poster, but I'll say it again: When I see the pictures of you all with those children in their colorful clothes with those bright smiles on their faces, it gives me hope. I think what you guys are doing in Afghanistan is so very important. You are making the lives of these little ones better than they could have ever been under the Taliban.

Thank you for your service!

The picture of the cat reminds me of the famous photo from Viet Nam of a Viet Cong being executed on the street in Saigon. I'm sure you know the one. Is that too weird?

So, was it a suspected Taliban cat?

good video of course we expect that .

but if you are not engaged in firefights why are their award formations ?

no wonder nothing is happening!

That's curious, I actually had no idea about these facts before so I can only say thank you for this information. If not but you I'd never find this out. Thanks a bunch for this post, that was fantastic ro read it!
