Brooke McEldowney, the creator of Pibgorn, announces the publication of the brand new Pibgorn graphic novel “Pibgorn Rep: A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” It will be available from Pib Press at the end of April. The original series, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” was presented online as an ongoing storyline in the Pibgorn comic. After the story began appearing online, Mr. McEldowney was inundated by requests from teachers, students, Shakespeare lovers and just about everyone else to release the story in book form. This book, with an introduction by Alan Dean Foster, obliges with new art and Mr. McEldowney's original unexpurgated panels. For more about the book, and how to order, see the official Pibgorn blog here. Read Pibgorn online.

No question that win-win is the way to go, this is how I do it for myself and the people I work with :-) Sadly there are bad apples everywhere, and you can only hope that they will learn one day that this is not the right way to do things. Until then, the best is to stay away from these type.

I *was* right. It *is* easier to relate to all in one book.

"One of these days, Drusilla is going to call Pibby "Piggy," and I'll be oblivious."
Pib will come 'round and remind you.

The "pigborn" or the "pibgorns"is good because it is an opportunity for our kids who would never have known Shakespeares to have an idea about his work.
The author is a gem of inestimable value to the world.
Write on Mr. Eldowney, more papers to your pen.
Regards
KFK Francis Koledoye.

Yes. And thank you for mentioning the transpositions of the p and the g. It happens all the time, and even when I'm proofreading as carefully as I can, I never see them (and I won't even mention how easy it is to write it). One of these days, Drusilla is going to call Pibby "Piggy," and I'll be oblivious.

Ah, I see you've corrected it...

I count six "pibgorns" and three "pigborns"---the latter sounds vaguely insulting.
I look forward to this new volume---it was *very* hard to relate to this one online strip at a time...
