Allison Barrows brings PreTeena to a close this Sunday. With kids growing up and a job offer on the table that was "too good to pass up," the creator has decided that now is the time to end the strip, which has been syndicated by Universal Press since 2001. Read the official announcement here.

Back in 2000, Uncle Duke of Doonesbury made a historic and memorable run at the Oval Office. Alas, Duke's efforts were unsuccessful...but reminders of the Duke 2000 campaign abound.
