My favorite was the guy from PARADE magazine who said that, "readership is UP! It's UP!" As if emphasizing that last word made it true.

LOL That's right! It was almost like a 1930s movie: "Readership is UP! It's UP I tells ya!"
He was very optimistic -- I liked that. However, he had that certain Iraqi Information Minister thing about him, though.
