People are always astounded when they find out what I do for a living as they say, "you don't seem that funny." That's the beauty of it, with newspaper comic strips ... you don't have to be.

He is right the best thing of writing a comic book is that you don't necessarily have to look funny, but to be funny when you do your work, and that's where the magic comes from, surprising people when you tell them you are the one that does this stuff
